Don't worry, we won't be updating you about every time we buy vegetables throughout the summer. But as long as we have pictures, we ought to share them with you. After a troublesome week with frosty nights, there were some garden casualties, namely the lettuce and basil starts that we had high hopes for last weekend. We have replaced the brave basil with a newer, younger looking group. Hopefully they can tough out the weather. The sunlight, whether it is direct or shooting in through the windows, has certainly started feeling a lot more early-June and less late-April. We raise our glass to that.
